Hotel Overview

Sense of place

Blessed by its beautiful riverside location, the An Lam Retreats Saigon River sits in lush tropical gardens, coloured by bougainvillea and camellia plants and scented with the sweet aromas of citrus fruit trees.

Rooms at An Lam Retreats Saigon River

The 19 suites and villas blend traditional Vietnamese architectural design with modern touches, and all enjoy uninterrupted views of the river or the tropical gardens. They sit among the fruit trees and are tastefully decorated with smart slate tiles and rich, coffee-coloured woods, along with king-sized beds and complimentary films on demand.

For an added splurge, Pool Suites, Garden Villas, Riverfront Villas and the Sunset Villa come with their own shimmering plunge pools and private gardens.

Food & Drink

Lit by dainty lanterns, the hotel’s al fresco restaurant, Tram’s Cookery, triumphs in all things local and organic, showcasing fresh local produce. Dinner dishes are inspired by time-honoured Vietnamese recipes, as well as western specialities, while breakfasts feature the full works, including fresh fruit platters, waffles cooked to order and Vietnamese favourites.

The poolside bar is the perfect place for sundowner cocktails overlooking the river, or for even more romance, opt for a private dinner brought to your villa.

Everything about this hotel oozes tranquillity, from its beautiful central pool to its luxurious spa in the tropical gardens, including steam baths and secluded massage rooms. Channel the relaxed vibe by taking part in a yoga session or sipping cocktails beneath a hanging bougainvillea plant. A personal butler will tend to your every needs, ensuring you have ample opportunities to put your feet up and revel in the serenity.

Activities at An Lam Retreats Saigon River

The magnificent sights and smells of Saigon are just a short boat ride away; peruse the quaint colonial architecture of its central core or wander through the glitzy shopping centres of District 7, before retreating to the An Lam for a peaceful evening by the river.

Indulge in a wealth of tours, ranging from sunset cruises along the river to mangrove forest tours and trips to the historic Cu Chi Tunnels, which were used extensively during the Vietnam War. Closer to the hotel, you can wander gorgeous flower gardens, tee off at the Twin Doves golf course, or take part in a Vietnamese cookery class.
