There are 85 charming villas at The Racha, which are spread over 20 acres of verdant tropical grounds and each one was built to minimalise the impact upon its surroundings. With eight villa types, many have private terraces, open-air rain showers, outdoor daybeds and private infinity or plunge pools. Indoors, you’ll find a crisp, pure white palette alongside rich wood furniture, and spacious rooms featuring plenty of modern touches.

For a special occasion, ask for the Lighthouse. This separate five-story retreat has four bedrooms and an observation lounge at the top, with 360 degree views of Racha Yai and the Andaman Sea.
