Hotel Overview

Sense of Place

SALA Phuket Mai Khao Beach Resort sits on the beautiful Mai Khao beach on Phuket's north-western coast.

Rooms at SALA Phuket Mai Khao Beach Resort

The loft-style villas and suites are smart and capacious, with cushy daybeds to lounge on, and open-air private bathrooms decked out with cavernous tubs, and most have their own personal pools, giving a feeling of complete seclusion and self-containment. Even the smallest rooms cover 157 square metres and many of them, like the Garden Pool Villa, have private swimming pools, outdoor showers and gardens.

Choose the Two Bedroom Presidential Pool Villa and you'll be blown away by the pool, which is among the largest guest room swimming pools in the world.

Food & Drink

The freshest of seafood, international classics and cherished Thai specialties are all served up at the hotel’s beachfront eatery – or you can choose to eat on the rooftop, by the sea, poolside or even have your own personal chef rustle up something for you on a barbecue outside your villa.

Facilities

Outside your door is the gorgeous Mai Khao Beach, an outdoor cinema, a beachfront restaurant and a bar, along with two beachfront pools. Hang around and you'll be brought treats throughout the day, from tropical fruits to iced drinks.

Despite the attractions all around, the spa has a magnetic pull. Inspired by a Chinese garden, this blissful sanctuary has several air-conditioned treatment rooms, beachfront massage stations and luxurious sauna and steam rooms. Our top tip is the nourishing seaweed detoxifying body wrap - especially after a long flight, as it improves circulation.

Activities at SALA Phuket Mai Khao Beach Resort

The buttery sands of Mai Khao are just begging for long walks in the evening and soaking up the sun in the afternoon. Plunge into the Andaman Sea with a scuba dive to explore the area’s spectacular coral reefs and rock formations or dabble in the island’s latest obsession, kite-surfing, for a unique adrenaline rush as you skim over the seas. The beautiful Phang Nga Bay isn't far away, while golf lovers can tee off at world-class golf courses nearby.
