Hotel Overview

Sense of Place

Amanpuri is perched on Phuket’s west coast, on a headland that overlooks the Andaman Sea.

Rooms at Amanpuri

Reached by wooden walkways, amongst fragrant vegetation, the wonderfully secluded Thai-style pavilions enjoy the utmost in privacy. In typical Aman style, they are spacious, open, and simple, with subtle details that reflect their exotic surroundings. All have sundecks to make the most of the views, and many have private infinity pools with beautiful indigo tiles.

Food & Drink

Dining at Amanpuri is truly special – and not least for the locations you’ll eat in. Choose from classic Thai, indulgent Italian, or innovative French Kaiseki, which blends French technique with Japanese artistry. For laid-back bites, Amanpuri holds candlelit barbecues on the beach, and during the day you can enjoy delicious juices and smoothies on the fountain terrace.

Facilities

Once you’ve become an Aman convert, you’ll no doubt want to stay put for your entire holiday. We certainly can’t blame you, what with the huge and glorious infinity pool, al fresco massage pavilions, and a meditation sala where you can treat yourself to a private therapy session.

Activities at Amanpuri

If you want to head further afield, Phuket has a number of ornate Buddhist temples to explore – or why not charter one of Aman’s private fleet of boats to explore the famous neighbouring islands? Snorkelling and diving trips are also on offer, giving you the chance to swim amongst sharks and moray eels. Then there’s the beautiful white sand cove, which offers a number of complimentary water sports.
