Hotel Overview

Sense of Place

Raya Heritage sits by the Ping River in a tranquil setting on the outskirts of Chiang Mai - the centre of Chiang Mai is just 20 minutes away.

Rooms at Raya Heritage

The hotel’s spacious suites are decked out in natural materials such as wood, and come with a minimalist white, cream and black colour scheme and soaring ceilings. They feature handpicked artefacts and furnishings, many made by local craftspeople, including pottery, wood carvings and handwoven textiles and baskets, alongside bathrooms with hand-carved teakwood mirrors and locally-crafted ceramic tiles.

Each suite has an outdoor terrace to relax on, and some also have their own private pools to cool off in.

Food & Drink

Enjoy gourmet Lanna-inspired cuisine on the riverside terrace at signature restaurant Khu Khao, whose dishes feature fresh produce from local sustainable farms. Linger over afternoon tea, or a cup of Thai organic forest coffee on the Laan Cha Tea Terrace, and enjoy pre-dinner cocktails at the Baan Ta Lounge: its namesake cocktail is made with local Mekhong rum, Thai herbs and passion fruit.

Facilities

The pool sits parallel to the river and is perfect for cooling off in or relaxing by, or visit the spa. Inspired by historic traditions and age-old healing remedies, over 700 herbs are used in its treatments, expertly blended by local herbalists. Try the signature bamboo massage, in which therapists massage the body with lightly-heated sections of bamboo.

Activities at Raya Heritage

Around the area, visit temples, markets and villages, watch artisans at work, trek in the jungle and meet elephants, and get the adrenaline pumping with a rock climb or rafting trip.
