Hotel Overview

Sense of Place

Santiburi has a secluded location by a pristine, exclusive 300-metre stretch of Mae Nam Beach on the beautiful north shores of Koh Samui, nestled in 23 acres of tropical scenery. It is set away from the hustle and bustle of Chaweng, yet is easily accessible to some excellent local restaurants, which are within walking distance.

Rooms at Santiburi Koh Samui

The attractive one and two-bedroom duplex suites and villas are inspired by centuries of traditional Thai style while also showcasing contemporary touches, including sleek design and state-of-the-art technology. They have separate living and sleeping areas and they all come with private balconies or terraces overlooking the pool and gardens or the beach and the sea. Some have their own Jacuzzis and/or pools, and some have direct access onto the beach.

The two-bedroom duplex suites are great for families, with a bedroom on each floor, two bathrooms and a spacious living area - while the Grand Reserve Pool Villa has a large garden, deck and private pool and is perfect for an extra-special holiday.

Food & Drink

For breakfast, choose from the wide range on offer at the Vimarnmek restaurant’s daily buffets, complete with live cooking stations. Sample traditional Thai cuisine on a terrace overlooking the gardens at Sala Thai, tuck into gourmet snacks by the pool or try the signature surf and turf dishes by the sea at The Beach House, which make the most of fresh tropical island fare.

Indulge in a floating breakfast in your private pool, a secluded lunch in your room, or a romantic dinner on the beach, and don't miss the daily afternoon tea, which is a highlight for us.

Facilities

Cool off from the heat in the irresistible pool, or relax with a drink from the poolside bar. Speaking of relaxing, unwind in style at the spa, a haven of wood-carved panels, Thai silk and polished mahogany floors, where you can treat yourself to bespoke Ayurvedic wellness treatments tailored to you, featuring natural island ingredients such as fragrant herbs, coconut, rice and jasmine.

The lounge, complete with a piano, is a lovely spot to cosy up in at the end of the day.

Activities at Santiburi Koh Samui

Active types will love the sports centre and can also take advantage of the water sports centre with some kayaking or sailing, with complimentary personal coaching available.

There is plenty on offer for families too, including a kids club to keep younger members of the family entertained, from a treehouse, a playground and a petting zoo to traditional Thai arts and crafts such as batik painting.

Discover Koh Samui on a cycle ride - the terrain is flat around the resort, making cycling a breeze - or go on an island-hopping adventure, while not too far away are attractions from temples to waterfalls. Alternatively, simply spend a blissful afternoon on the coconut palm-lined beach, and have cold drinks and ice cream brought to your lounger courtesy of the butler service.
