Hotel Overview

Sense of place

Sitting on the pristine island of Koh Samet in the Gulf of Thailand, accessible by private speedboat, Paradee Resort is the definition of tropical island exclusivity. The hotel overlooks the white sands of Ao Kiew Beach and backs onto dense tropical jungle.

Rooms at Paradee Resort

Accommodation at Paradee is spread across 40 luxurious villas, sitting in tropical gardens which make each one feel like a world of its own. The design of the villas shows the influence of Moroccan and Balinese architecture, and features beautiful four-poster beds, teak flooring and hand-carved wooden furniture. The gardens and villas are staggered down the hillside, and finish with a range of beachfront villas with terraces overlooking the sea and private infinity pools.

Food and drink

The resort’s restaurant serves up delicious Asian fusion cuisine courtesy of McDang, a Thai celebrity chef and member of the Thai royal family. Dishes shows the influence of Western and traditional Thai cuisine, and make the most of the resort’s location with an emphasis on fresh seafood. You can enjoy dining either in the restaurant, which has a traditional Thai ‘sala’ (circular open pavilion) style, or in the privacy of your villa.

Facilities

Paradee’s beautiful infinity pool is the perfect place to watch the sun go down while you enjoy a cocktail from the adjacent pool bar, while there’s a fully equipped fitness centre so you can keep up with your fitness routine during your stay. Paradee’s spa offers endless opportunities to indulge yourself with a top-class wellness treatment in a beautiful Balinese-style environment. If you fancy retreating into the shade for a while, there’s a cosy library stocked with a wide range of reading materials. There’s also a babysitting service on offer, so that parents can enjoy some time alone.

Activities at Paradee Resort

The pristine white sands of the beach and the deep blue of the ocean are the stars of the show at Paradee, and a range of water sports are on offer to help you make the most of your surroundings, from snorkelling and diving to sailing and windsurfing. Canoes are available for hire and are a great way to explore the region’s unspoilt coastline.
