Hotel Overview

sense of place

In the heart of the city yet surrounded by lush tropical gardens, AriyasomVilla offers the best that Bangkok has to offer, whether you’re after a shot of urban chaos or some quiet relaxation. The hotel backs onto a canal, offering great opportunities to experience Bangkok in classic style with a ferry ride to some of the city’s most iconic landmarks.

Rooms at Ariyasomvilla

Rooms and suites have an elegant, organic feel, with dark teak floors, one-of-a-kind antique furniture and silk drapes. The opulent bathrooms feature stained glass windows and Moorish-inspired décor.

Food & drink

AriyasomVilla’s restaurant, Na Aroom, offers an award-winning vegetarian menu in a beautiful environment on the ground floor of the old villa. The food spans Thai and Western styles, with an emphasis on organic ingredients from sustainable producers – and pescetarians are catered for with the odd fresh fish and seafood dish.

The hotel’s Som Sen Spa is the perfect place to relax and unwind after a day enjoying the madness of Bangkok, with a wide-ranging spa menu offering a variety of traditional Thai treatments. Adjacent to the spa is the hotel’s beautiful swimming pool, and there’s also a whirlpool tub. Guests are welcome to use the hotel gym, so you can keep on top of your fitness regime during your stay. As well as the beautiful tropical garden, there’s a large library in which guests can relax.

Activities at Ariyasomvilla

The hotel is perfectly located for experiencing Bangkok’s famous klongs (canals), one of the biggest of which runs along the back of the property; a ride on the ferry into the Old City is a fantastic way to experience Bangkok in a calmer, more traditional way. Landmarks nearby include the Jim Thompson House, which houses the art collection of the American architect; the beautiful Grand Palace, home to the royal family; and the stunning Wat Pho, home to the famous Reclining Buddha. Back at the hotel, meditation classes are on offer with a Buddhist monk.
