Hotel Overview

Sense of Place

The Six Senses Duxton is located in a row of shophouses in Tanjong Pagar – Singapore’s central district – in Chinatown, a buzzing area with a vibrant nightlife. It is housed in a row of restored heritage houses dating from its opium and gambling past. The central location makes it ideal for sightseeing, as it’s just a short distance away from attractions such as the Chinatown Heritage Centre and the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple and Museum.

Rooms at Six Senses Duxton

The rooms and suites include sleek black and white-themed Shophouse rooms, named after the former shophouses the hotel now occupies, which included opium dens. The opulent Opium rooms come with four-poster beds, beautiful lacquerware and bathrooms with walk-in rainshowers. The suites offer even more space, luxury and elegant furnishings, such as the extravagant white Pearl Suite, bedecked in wood and marble.

Food & Drink

At the Yellow Pot restaurant, you can enjoy classic and innovative Chinese cuisine in a stunning black and gold setting, and the adjacent bar serves up signature cocktails such as Escape to Kaifeng, a concoction of gin and chrysanthemum cordial, topped off with a yellow chrysanthemum.

Guests interested in health and wellness can have a consultation and find out more about traditional Chinese medicine, featuring treatments made with herbs and other natural ingredients.

Activities at Six Senses Duxton

There are boutiques, bars, restaurants and irresistible street food options all on the doorstep, with culinary experiences on offer to help you make the most of the local cuisine - and you can visit a nearby teahouse to discover how Chinese tea is made.
