A Feast for the Senses

Spend the first few days of your Malaysian holiday luxuriating on the beach and sampling exquisite Malaysian cuisine while staying at the remarkable Blue Mansion. During your stay we’ll also take you on a guided tour of Penang to experience the local heritage, including stops at temples, mosques and Chinese-style architecture, and you’ll indulge in a spot of afternoon tea at Malaysia’s only surviving Georgian Mansion, Suffolk House, which dates back to 1804.

After breakfast we’ll fly you to Kuala Lumpur where you’ll check into Villa Samadhi, a delightfully tranquil retreat in a leafy district of the Malaysian capital, before feasting on a decadent Indochinese dinner at Tamarind Springs. The next day, head to the UNESCO-listed town of Malacca on a full-day tour and learn about the array of European influences that, over the past 600 years, have given birth to a totally unique cultural heritage.

Back in Kuala Lumpur, visit the Petronas Towers before beginning a foodie trail in the capital. Your expert guide will educate you on Malaysia’s most outstanding delicacies, which you’ll get to sample along the way, and you’ll also enjoy some sightseeing as you go. 

A quick flight and boat ride will whisk you off to Tioman Island and your sumptuous bolthole, JapaMala. The hotel is tucked away amidst pristine jungle and beaches so rest assured you’ll spend the next few days in utter seclusion and luxury. Wake up every day to the view of the sparkling ocean from your wooden chalet, and drift from your private pool to the beach, the spa to the restaurant. Taste the variety of Malay, Thai and Indochinese cuisine at this multi-award-winning restaurant, and indulge in Italian dishes at the edge of Japamala’s picturesque jetty.

We’ll take you by boat and road transfer to Singapore which will be the last stop on this luxury holiday, staying at the gorgeous Villa Samadhi. During your time in slick Singapore, enjoy a culinary and cultural tour of Chinatown, including the floating market brimming with vegetables, seafood and exotic meats like frogs and eels. You’ll also stop by the astounding Sri Mariamman Temple and other sights before tucking into a dim sum lunch at the end of this tour.

The following day you’ll get to explore Singapore’s historical side in Perankan, a vibrant and colourful pocket of the city which displays ornate facades, intricate motifs and ceramic tiles. After this your luxury gourmet holiday has come to an end and we’ll fly you home from Singapore airport.
