Begin your adventure in Bangkok, which is an irresistible blend of ancient and modern. Venture into nearby caves, visit a rice wine distillery and explore the ancient centre of Luang Prabang.

Another day, another country, and from one UNESCO World Heritage Site to another – today, it’s on to Siem Reap in Cambodia, which is home to approximately 500 temples, the most famous of which is, of course, Angkor Wat. This mighty and impressive monument to Asian civilisation is a incredible sight, especially at sunrise and sunset. The Angkor Archaeological Park has numerous hidden temples and historic ruins, and you’re bound to find a spot away from the crowds here. Apart from Angkor Wat, visit Siem Reap’s markets and colonial French Quarter, and immerse yourself in its thriving cultural scene and world-class food. You could also take a boat trip along the beautiful Tonle Sap Lake and visit the floating and stilted lakeside villages. Your hotel, Phum Baitang, is just a 20-minute drive from Angkor Wat, but is a tranquil haven to relax in, surrounded by fragrant lemongrass fields and rice paddies.

Back in Thailand, head to Phuket to relax on the beach, luxuriating in your own slice of paradise. Phuket is Thailand’s largest island, and has endless white sand beaches overlooking aquamarine waters, making it a blissful place to while away a few days, whether it’s chilling out on the sand or snorkelling and diving in the crystal clear sea.
