Luang Prabang. The ancient city of Luang Prabang, a UNESCO World heritage site, is a fascinating fusion of grandiose French architecture and Laotian temples. Perched on the banks of the Mekong River, the serene city is the spiritual capital of Laos, where Buddhist monks wander the peaceful streets.
Pakse. The gateway to the beautiful Bolaven Plateau, Pakse, is home to picturesque rice fields, acre upon acre of buzzing food markets and the elegant temple of Wat Luang, where monks can be seen giving alms giving rituals.
The Golden Pagoda in Vientienne. One of the most important religious monuments in Laos, The Golden Pagoda – or Pha That Luang – is filled to the brim with stupas and statues of the Buddha.
Cruising the Mekong. Float gently past coffee plantations, spectacular mountains and traditional Laotian villages on a peaceful cruise down the Mekong River.
The Chomg Ong Caves. With astounding stalagmites, stalactites and natural rock formations, at over 16 km long, the underground labyrinth of Chomg Ong is one of the longest in Laos.
