The Lombok Lodge

The Lombok Lodge is in northern Lombok, in an area of natural beauty mirrored by the neighbouring pristine Medana Bay.

With so few guests – there are only nine suites here - this hotel achieves an unrivalled level of privacy. The Poolside Lodge Suites have direct access to the infinity pool, while the two and three-bedroom Family Lodges are ideal for families and larger groups. The Lodge Suites include the distinctive Black Lodge, which is decked out in dark woods and white linens.  

The spacious rooms are decorated in serene greys, whites and creams that fuse the hotel's minimalist vision with some authentic Asian touches. They are equipped with the most luxurious modern amenities, and large doors open to sprawling views of Medana Bay and Mount Rinjani.

Feast on Italian favourites such as pizza and pasta at L'Osteria Lombok, or dine in exquisite style at Flavors, which has just a handful of tables overlooking the pool and the beach, where you'll be serenaded by musicians. For light meals and cocktails, head to the Beach Bistro & Bar.

Dishes are delicately put together with fresh, local ingredients, and like the food selection, dining options are also varied: from candlelit dinners on the beach to in-room dining, you can be sure that your experience will be unique.

The Lombok Lodge has a gorgeous pool, and you can relax poolside beneath the shade of an umbrella. Influenced by ancient spiritual traditions, the Frangipani Spa uses only local ingredients in its oils, for an array of Asian-inspired body treatments - prepare for some blissful relaxation. 

Hike through forests and to waterfalls, keeping an eye out for macaques, and visit Buddhist villages in the hills, local temples and a 19th-century royal palace. Travel by horse and cart to the traditional market of Tanjung or take a glass-bottomed boat to the beautiful Gili Islands - which are just a 10-minute boat ride away.
