As you cruise along the river, relax on the shaded loungers by the swimming pool at the heart of the sundeck with a book in one hand and a glass of Burmese wine or more traditional cocktail in the other, looking out for thatched houses on stilts and examples of local life lived in a timeless, traditional way - or, if you want to keep active between excursions, venture below the main deck where you'll find a well-equipped gym. 

The biggest draw is what you will encounter beyond the confines of the ship; enjoy authentic onshore excursions to explore the ancient temples, pagodas, palaces and monasteries that dot the shoreline, with trips to explore the royal cities of Mingun, Amarapura and Ava as well as the famed U Bein Bridge, a rickety structure that stretches for more than a kilometre across Taungthaman Lake.
