Where

Ruckomechi Camp is situated on the western boundary of the Mana Pools National Park, in the heart of Zimbabwe’s Zambezi Valley.

Rooms at Mana Pools

The camp’s accommodation comes in the form of ten luxury tents, one of which is a family tent which comfortably sleeps four: the interiors of all use natural materials where possible, and boast spectacular views of the river from their veranda. Tents are connected via a low-level walkway to the main area.

Food and facilities

The main area, also under canvas, incorporates dining, bar and lounge areas; a star-gazing deck; a small library; and hammocks beside an infinity pool with river views. Finally, spectacularly set on the banks of the Zambezi River, is a privately located bush bath for an unforgettable evening under the stars.

Ruckomechi Camp’s excellent location means it can offer land and water based activities including game drives, game viewing cruises in a pontoon or speed boat, canoeing, and fishing.
