Mana Pools Safari Company

The banks of the Zambezi River in the beautiful Mana Pools National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Tents are large in size and furnished luxuriously, each with their own private veranda area.  All are orientated towards the magnificent view of the Zambezi River and flood plains, and the abundant variety of wildlife which make their home there.

Food at Mana Pools Safari Co. is deliciously fresh, and lovingly prepared in the bush kitchen: enjoy afternoon tea before an evening game drive, and a sundowner on a riverside sandbar after an exhilarating day’s wildlife viewing. The camp’s remote location doesn’t mean any stinting on luxury, and dinner is a three-course affair, complete with waiter service in the dining tent.

The camp’s founder, legendary safari guide John Stevens, described the walking in Mana Pools as the best in the world – and it’s not hard to see why, with lion, elephant, buffalo and hyena among the iconic wildlife you can spot on a stroll here. Game drives and canoe trips are also available, while fishing on the Zambezi is a rare privilege.
