Busanga Bush Camp

Each of the four rooms at tiny Busanga Bush Camp is tented, with gauze and canvas walls and large doors that open out into the bush. The en-suite bathrooms all offer the chance to bathe under the trees and the night sky.

The dining area at Busanga is shaded by the canopy of a massive tree, decorated with a quirky chandelier made of hurricane lamps that casts a soft, romantic light at night. Game viewing needn’t stop just because you’re hungry – the open air lounge and bar gives uninterrupted views of herds of antelope grazing on the plains beyond.

Activities at Busanga Bush Camp include game drives, walking safaris and night drives, which are particularly rewarding during dry season, when large numbers of antelope, buffalo and wildebeest congregate on the plains. In their wake come lions, cheetahs and wild dogs making for some very interesting wildlife encounters.
