Murchison Falls National Park
With the whole of the Nile funnelling through a seven-metre gap in the Rift Valley escarpment before transforming into a thunderous froth, Murchison Falls is one of the most exhilarating sights in East Africa. In Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda's largest national park, combine this with boat trips alongside crocodiles, hippos and the extraordinary shoebill stork, and you've got yourself some serious exhilaration. As for other wildlife, lions and more are regularly seen stalking the grasslands north of the Nile.
