Fly overnight via Nairobi to Kilimanjaro Airport, and take a transfer to the Manyara Airstrip. Here, you’ll enjoy your first game drive en route to the Lake Manyara Tree Lodge, accompanied by an experienced guide who will introduce you to the resident game of the area.  Spend two nights at the elegant, stilted tree house, which sits hidden among the mahogany trees, and begin your safari holiday by visiting the National Park in search of the unusual tree-climbing lions and the ambling herds of elephants.

Fly to the Serengeti and take a game drive transfer to &Beyond Klein’s Camp, where you will spend three nights immersed in the heart of the Serengeti wilderness.  During your time here, visit the endless plains of one of the world’s top safari destinations, having inspired many writers and photographers past and present. Enjoy exhilarating game drives, taking in the mass movement of the Great Migration, and go on a visit to the Olduvai Gorge.

Return to Manyara and enjoy an exhilarating game drive to the &Beyond Crater Lodge, which perches on the rim of this magnificent wilderness.  Spend the next couple of days exploring the World Heritage listed Ngorongoro Crater: a playground for game and wildlife and one of Africa’s most impressive safari destinations.  The crater was a former gigantic volcano, no longer active today but still very much intact. Here you’ll go in search of the heavily protected black rhinos, giant tusked elephants and the black–maned lions that stalk the grasslands.

After your last morning game drive, bid farewell to Ngorongoro and catch a flight to Zanzibar, where you’ll spend your final few nights surrounded by the dazzling coral seas at the &Beyond Mnemba Island. Soak up the sunshine and laze on the powder white sands of this private island retreat. The island is also a nesting ground for the threatened green turtle, while its waters are home to vast marine life including reef fish, humpback whales, dolphins, and sharks out in its deeper waters. As your Tanzania safari and beach holiday comes to its close, connect back to Zanzibar to catch your return flight home.
