Kicheche Mara Camp

4 nightsMASAI MARA

Fly in to Nairobi, and head across town to the local airport for your light aircraft flight down to the Masai Mara. Spend four nights at Kicheche Mara Camp exploring in a 4 x 4 game viewing vehicle. Watch cheetah hunting on the plains, lion prides snoozing in the sunshine, and hippos wallowing in the rivers. Be sure to pay a visit to the local village, and if you want to treat yourselves, book an early morning hot air balloon flight over the bush .On your last day, fly back to Nairobi for lunch (the Talisman and the Rusty Nail are tried and tested favourites, but there are numerous excellent options), before heading on to the airport for your flight to Zanzibar.

Zanzibar

6 nightsZANZIBAR

Spend six nights on the picturesque Zanzibar island. We’d quite happily pass the entire time with a good book or watching the dhows float back and forth, but there’s plenty to keep more active types entertained. Head in to Stone Town to test your bartering skills in the market, dive and snorkel in the offshore marine park or spend a morning wandering around a spice plantation.

At the end of your stay spend the morning on the beach, before flying back to Nairobi, and from there on to your homeward flight.
