Hotel Overview

Sense of Place

Arusha Coffee Lodge sits on one of the many luscious foothills of Mount Meru, surrounded by coffee plantations. It rests on the edge of town, allowing a sense of both seclusion and tranquillity, yet on the doorstep of the airport.

Rooms at Arusha Coffee Lodge

Arusha Coffee Lodge was built around the original landowner’s house, dating back to the 1900s, and offers a homely feel that extends to the rooms. The spacious and comfortable rooms and suites are raised on wooden platforms and are tastefully decorated in the old plantation house style, with canopy beds, wooden-beamed ceilings, chandeliers and log fireplaces, alongside private balconies overlooking the plantations and Mount Meru, where you can sit under the stars and truly soak up the peaceful atmosphere.

Food & Drink

The menus from the expert chefs feature a diverse selection of fresh, delicious food, which is made using locally-sourced quality ingredients. The gardens provide an ideal spot for lunch in the sun or a cup of local coffee and a slice of homemade cake, while dinner can be eaten by the warmth of an open fire or outdoors under the stars.

Facilities

The Arusha Coffee Lodge has a welcoming swimming pool in the verdant gardens, and you can unwind with a massage in the spa.

Activities at Arusha Coffee Lodge

The lodge offers a coffee tour to educate guests on the fascinating journey of the coffee bean from the local plantation to their cups. With coffee roasters and a fermentation plant on the estate, guests have the opportunity to observe the roasting process, taste coffee blends and purchase freshly-roasted beans. You can also enjoy a visit to the very scenic Arusha National Park nearby.
