1 nightArusha

The gateway to northern Tanzania’s safari circuit, Arusha is your first port of call on this odyssey of craters, cats and coconut palms. Rivertrees Country House, an African-style rural retreat, away from the hustle and bustle of Arusha, will be your base for your first night. This charming inn offers the ideal spot to rest and unwind before your safari adventure, surrounded by 10 acres of tropical gardens.

2 nightsNgorongoro Crater

After a short flight from Arusha to Manyara’s airstrip, you will jump straight into safari adventures in one of East Africa’s most game-rich regions – the Ngorongoro Crater. Lemala Ngorongoro, your home for the next two nights, is a quality tented camp situated in an ancient acacia forest near the crater rim. The camp’s convenient location provides easy early-morning access to the crater floor, where extraordinary volcanic landscapes and Big Five game drives await you.

3 nightsSerengeti

Continue on your journey with a flight to Seronera airstrip, the gateway to the Central Serengeti’s vast game-rich plains. Thanks to the reliable water sources here in the Seronera Valley, where Lemala Ewanjan - your camp for the next three nights - is located, animals great and small congregate in large numbers, making for incredible sightings (and photographs). Big cats are particularly renowned in the area, hunting the grasses in pursuit of stray wildebeest that may have digressed from the migratory herds.

3 nightsZanzibar Beach

Bid farewell to the safari section of your trip and hop on a flight west to the paradisiacal beaches of Zanzibar for a few days of rest and relaxation.
