Delaire Graff Estate has a truly stunning location, with mountains on one side and the rolling wine vineyards of Stellenbosch on the other. The proximity of the ocean and the mountains not only makes for some beautiful vistas, it is also part of the unique terroir which makes the estate’s wine so delicious.

Delaire Graff’s lodges were designed by the acclaimed David Collins Studio, and have a stylish, contemporary aesthetic while making the most of the beauty of their surroundings with huge windows and wide private verandas. The cinematic scope of the landscape outside is mirrored in the huge ceilings, while outside each lodge is your own private plunge pool where you can relax and take in the view. The vast Owner’s Lodge accommodates four adults, while the Luxury Lodge is decorated with artworks from the estate’s private collection.

In keeping with the stellar gastronomic reputation of the Stellenbosch region, dining at Delaire Graff is a rarefied experience. At Delaire Graff Restaurant you’ll find gourmet takes on classic bistro favourites, and a menu which changes constantly according to the seasons. Indochine offers exquisite Asian tapas dishes courtesy of head chef Virgil Kahn. Throughout, food is accompanied by a wide selection of the finest quality South African wines. Much of the produce used is harvested daily from the estate’s own greenhouse and vegetable gardens.

At the Delaire Graff Spa, a wide range of holistic spa treatments are on offer, while the beautiful infinity pool is a peaceful place to relax and gaze over the Stellenbosch vineyards. The estate is also home to no fewer than 3 ultra-exclusive boutiques, with diamonds and gemstones on offer at Graff Diamonds, and exquisite clothing and homeware courtesy of Italian designer Antonino Aiello at 100% Capri. At VanaShree, a range of luxury handbags is on offer using sustainable crocodile, ostrich, python, and stingray leather.

Needless to say, a star attraction at this hotel is the acclaimed range of Delaire Graff wines, and there are ample opportunities to taste the estate’s wines and learn about their production. The estate also houses much of the personal art collection of Laurence Graff, which is open for guests to view and includes Vladimir Tretchikoff’s Chinese Girl – one of the 20^th century’s most iconic and famous paintings.
