Hotel Overview

Sense of place

Set in the middle of an oasis at the foothills of the Cederberg Mountains.

rooms at Bushmans Kloof

The 16 elegant rooms and suites feature subtle, African/European design with private verandas and beautiful views. Rooms are situated amongst the landscaped gardens and pools or in the original Manor House.
The private villa Koro Lodge can hold up to 10 guests and is ideal for families and groups looking for their own piece of wilderness - you’ll also have your own private guide and chef.

Food and drink

Menus reflect the eclectic flavours of the region and are crafted from home-grown ingredients and local delicacies. Many dishes make use of the indigenous fynbos, so you might on occasion see flowers and plants artfully added into select dishes, such as the powerful rooibos plant. Whether it's formal dining at the Homestead, a picnic by a dam, a table set in a cliffside amphitheatre or an al fresco dinner under ancient wild fig trees, the location of dining is totally up to you.

Facilities

For quieter evenings, visit the library to peruse the collection before heading to the wine cellar to pair your book with a fine wine. With both in hand, make a claim on a comfortable chair in the lounge and settle in listening to the crackle of the fire.

Activities at Bushmans Kloof

The list is endless. Sunset nature drives, rock art excursions, hiking, mountain biking, canoeing, river walks, fly fishing, archery, croquet and culinary weekends to name but a few. Need a bit of time out? Simply relax by the pool or visit the spa for a treatment in the Riverside Gazebo.
