The best time for Cape Town is during UK winter months (December – April), and the surrounding beaches are perfect for those seeking winter sun. June to December is wetter around the coast, but we love this time of year for land-based whale watching, blustery strolls on the beach, and wild flowers blooming along the Cape.
Game viewing in South Africa is good all year round, but in areas like KwaZulu Natal and the Kruger it’s best to go during UK summer months as it’s cooler and less likely to rain.
