Hotel Overview

Sense of Place

Rooms at Madikwe Safari Lodge

There is a handful of suites over the three camps, which work independently but are connected by walkways. The suites are sophisticated, stylish and spacious, featuring natural muted hues that complement the surrounding landscape.

Lelapa Lodge is for families, where children of all ages are welcome. The deluxe suites have wood-burning fireplaces for cold nights, private plunge pools for hot days, outdoor showers and a sprawling deck offering vistas of Madikwe’s wilderness.

Kopano Lodge comprises of just a few suites and is perfect for honeymoons and romantic getaways, and if it is privacy you are after, then a candlelit dinner for two is just the ticket, followed by a rose-laden bubble bath. All the suites have a private bathroom, a private plunge pool and a deck with areas to enjoy a relaxing facial, massage or reflexology treatment.

Dithaba Lodge, perched up in the Madikwe hills, offers spectacular views over the open plains and is the ideal camp for the whole family or a small group of friends. A fantastic option for those who want an African experience in complete luxury, you can have the run of the whole lodge, with your own chef, butler, safari vehicle and ranger.

Food & drink

In the three camps, there are both indoor and outdoor dining areas, either under a thatched roof surrounded by a warming fire or outside in the boma overlooking the wildlife-rich bush. The lodges’ public areas, such as the lounge, bar, dining room and boma area, are open-sided to make the most of the views.

When you're not on the edge of your seat on safari or relaxing in the comfortable rooms, you can use the pools to cool off in, sip a refreshing cocktail in the bar or unwind with a sublime massage.
