Hotel Overview

Sense of Place

With treehouses set high up in Madikwe Private Game Reserve, Jaci’s Tree Lodge takes an iconic Big Five safari holiday to new heights.

Rooms at Jaci's Tree Lodge

There are eight treehouse suites, which have been custom-built on wooden stilts, connected by raised walkways, giving the sensation of ‘floating’ above the ground. These treehouses, built with gumpoles and African rosewood, offer exceptional views from suspended viewing decks, guaranteeing a memorable experience. They come in bright African colours, with indoor baths and private outdoor showers, alongside air conditioning and ceiling fans.

Food & drink

The main lodge has a comfortable lounge with a cosy fireplace to relax by in the evening after a day on safari, as well as a fully-stocked bar for a drink or two. There are indoor and outdoor dining areas for brunch, afternoon tea and dinner, and you can enjoy tasty South African cuisine.

Facilities

Have a swim in the pool, work out in the gym and browse the lodge’s shop for unique souvenirs to take home. In the evening, gather by the firepit in the boma, beneath the stars.

Activities at Jaci's Tree Lodge

Enjoy twice-daily game drives in the morning and afternoon with expert guides, as well as walking safaris and river walks, with special activities to keep children entertained. There are plenty of opportunities to spot the Big Five and more, including a wide variety of birds.
