Hotel Overview

Sense of Place

Nestled in the wildlife-rich Madikwe Private Game Reserve, you are guaranteed a memorable wildlife adventure at Jaci’s Safari Lodge.

Rooms at Jaci's Safari Lodge

There are six luxury tented suites, two private family suites and two exclusive Starbed Suites. They come with thatched roofs, low stone walls and canvas roll-up panels, making the most of the setting. Designed in earthy African tones with comfort in mind, the rooms have large handcrafted mosaic baths and outdoor ‘bush’ showers, as well as air conditioning and ceiling fans. They also each have a raised private deck to relax on and take in the views.

If you are travelling with the family or a group of friends, the Nare Suite, named after the resident buffalo that is a regular visitor to the waterhole in front of it, accommodates up to six guests and has a private pool, a loft space perfect for children to play in, and a viewing deck giving you prime position overlooking the animals at the waterhole. There’s also the Safari Suite, which sleeps up to eight and has a deck with a central firepit, a private pool and a ‘star pod’ for stargazing. Guests at both suites can enjoy a private game vehicle for the duration of their stay.

Food & Drink

The main lodge, also decorated in vibrant African colours and textures, features a central lounge with a copper fireplace, a bar and dining area. Meals showcasing delicious South African flavours, including brunch and afternoon tea, can be enjoyed here alongside the views across a stream, with starlit dining by the fireside in the evening.

Have a refreshing drink at the bar after a busy day on safari – try the selection of South African wines and local beers.

Facilities

There’s a circular firepit for social gatherings, a pool to cool off in and a gym if you fancy a workout.
