Where

Tintswalo Safari Lodge is located on the private Manyeleti Reserve concession, set on the banks of a seasonal riverbed amidst an ancient grove of sycamore trees.

Rooms at Tintswalo Safari Lodge

The six luxury suites are set on elevated decks and feature interesting décor with stylish furnishings and sections of stacked shale stone walls. Each of the suites are named after specific nineteenth century explorers and have lavish mosquito netting over the extra length double or twin beds. The spacious en-suite bathrooms have indoor and outdoor showers and the suites all open onto private decks and plunge pools with views over a waterhole.

Food and facilities

The main building houses the dining area and wine cellar, an exclusive library and a luxurious lounge warmed by a crackling fireplace. Meals are served in the formal dining area or in the open boma, and consist of flavoursome dishes created by chef, Ryno du Rand, using fresh herbs and spices.
