Bush Lodge- Discreetly placed overlooking a waterhole with beautiful views, all of the five superlative en-suite, tented and thatched suites at the five-star Bush Lodge have secluded private viewing decks with intimate plunge pools.

HillsNek Safari Camp- Set on the banks of the Bushman’s River with breath-taking vistas of the rolling African plains, HillsNek Safari Camp has just four luxury tented chalets with romantic outside showers and en-suite bathrooms. Elevated on expansive wooden decks, this lodge sets the stage for an unforgettable African sunset, which is followed perfectly by a delicious bush-inspired dinner.

Food and facilities

Each lodge features a central area with luxurious dining, splendid lounges and viewing platforms for game-filled panoramas. Evenings are spent around the outdoor fireplace or boma, admiring the stunning star-scape, unwinding with a drink and then dining on divine game meats and organic produce.

Activities offered at Amakhala are morning and afternoon game drives in open 4x4 safari vehicles, as well as elephant back safaris at the Addo Elephant Park, golf, sunset river cruises, guided bush walks outside of the Big Five area, birding and stargazing.
