rooms at tintswalo Atlantic

Inspired by the most beautiful islands around the world, the ten suites are individually designed to reflect their namesake. An oak door and a dhow on the dresser make a stay in the Zanzibar Island suite feel like an island getaway and full of authentic African touches, the Lamu Island suite surrounds itself with Swahili prints and souvenirs from Kenya. Take in the bay as you sway in a hanging basket chair on the deck of the Madagascan Saint Marie Island suite or for a slice of Europe, opt for the Sicily Island suite, where you can fall into the shabby chic bed after a relaxing bath taking in the views of the bay from the floor to ceiling glass window.
Whichever room you pick, there is no bad choice as each suite has a private deck, air-conditioning, underfloor heating and best of all, the Atlantic Ocean on the doorstep – literally.

food and drink

Though guests are welcome to make menu suggestions, it’s best to give the chefs, Jeantelle Van Staden and her team, full reign when preparing the delectable, four-course set menu. Creating artworks formed of fresh seafood and feasts of thick South African steaks, watch as they whip up your meals in the open plan dining room before whole-heartedly tucking in. Afterwards, take your glass (or bottle) of Cape wine to the gorgeous deck to watch the sun set over the bay.

facilities

With the tranquillity of the bay as your soundtrack, allow the in-house masseuse to ease your cares away in a couple’s massage or enjoy the views from the heated pool.
