Just as you’d expect of a country composed primarily of desert, Namibia is generally a year-rounder.
July to October is the driest with wonderfully clear skies during the day, and fantastic star gazing by night. September to October is the best window for game viewing, but bear in mind that there will be slightly more dust in the air. Finally, the rainy season takes place between November and April and due to the possibility of dramatic flash floods, we recommend 4X4s in some areas.
Whenever you go to Namibia, remember to pack a jumper as the desert nights can be quite chilly.
