Rooms at Desert Rhino Camp

Desert Rhino Camp has eight large Meru-style tents with solar powered lighting, en suite bathrooms and traditional bucket showers. Each tent has a verandah, where guests can take in the magnificent views of the desert and mountains.

Food and Facilities

The open-sided tented dining and sitting area is a relaxed environment to swap stories or soak up the uninterrupted views from a comfortable sofa.   Delicious home cooked meals are taken together around the large dining table or by the fire pit under the stars.

Activities at Desert Rhino Camp

The focus is on tracking black rhino by 4x4 or on foot in the company of dedicated conservationists and local trackers.  Other animals you might spot include desert-adapted elephant, zebra, giraffe and predators such as lion, cheetah, and hyena.  For twitchers, most of Namibia's endemics can be spotted here, so keep your binoculars at the ready!
