With over 2,000km of glorious coastline, weather conditions in Mozambique differ slightly depending on whether you’re in the north or the south.
The north shares an East Africa weather pattern and is pretty much a year round destination, whereas the south is more akin to South Africa. Our favourite months in general are May, September, and October and the only months to avoid are January and February when it’s very wet on the coast and safaris are closed inland.
July to October is particularly wonderful as humpback whales can be spotted in the Quirimbas Archipelago.
