South Luangwa Safari Park

2 nightsSOUTH LUANGWA NATIONAL PARK

South Luangwa National Park is a true wilderness, bursting with wildlife: the lagoons, woodlands and plains are home to elephants, zebras, buffaloes, giraffes and hippos, alongside over 450 species of birds. The game-rich Luangwa Wafwa area of the park has Luangwa River Camp right on its doorstep. This unique and exclusive camp, which has just five suites, has elevated decks that guarantee fantastic views of the park and the river from the dining areas, the bar and the inviting pool- which is sunk into the deck, linked by a waterfall. Go on a thrilling night walk to meet the nocturnal animals of the park.

Lake Malawi

3 nightsLAKE MALAWI

Lake Malawi is simply breathtaking. In the hills above the lake on the beautiful Nankumba Peninsula is Pumulani, which means ‘place of rest’- and this is a rather blissful spot for relaxation. The luxurious villas have spacious bedrooms and living areas, with sliding doors opening onto an elevated deck overlooking the lake. Dine in style in the restaurant, on your deck or by the white sandy beach, and enjoy the beautiful infinity pool and the lakeshore bar. For something more active, go trekking and cycling, and snorkel and kayak with colourful cichlid fish (which are unique to this area) and otters... or simply relax and unwind. Head out on the water in a traditional dhow at sunset, and as night falls, there’s some spectacular stargazing to be had in these vast starry skies- Lake Malawi isn’t known as the ‘Lake of Stars’ for nothing.
