Hotel Overview

Sense of Place

Located just outside the bustling city facing the Ngong Hills, but within a short drive to the airport.

Rooms at Hemingways Nairobi

Generously spacious and inviting rooms and bright en suite bathrooms are characteristic of Hemingways Nairobi which offers a wonderful sense of modern elegance alongside wildlife-inspired artworks and a sense of immersion in nature. The high-ceilinged rooms and suites come with majestic four-poster beds, complete with trailing mosquito nets, and provide all the comforts of home, while attentive butlers are also on hand to rustle up a treat from the pantry and tend to the artisan bouquets of fresh roses in your room. All the rooms have their own private balcony with views looking out onto the beautiful Ngong Hills.

Food & Drink

With aspirations of being the first Michelin-starred venue in Nairobi, Hemingways is bringing new vigour to the dining scene in Kenya. The menus are contemporary European in style, characterised by a focus on retro-classics with an ultra-modern twist. The hotels Brasserie is known to serve the best steaks in Kenya, not an easy achievement. The food is only half of the enjoyment though as the service team work closely with the chef to pair food and wine expertly, or you can choose from their extensive list of classic cocktails.

Facilities

Indulge yourself in the serene spa and have a relaxing massage or beauty treatment.

Activities at Hemingways Nairobi

From Nairobi, the possibilities are numerous - the Masai Mara is a short flight away and the national park is the only such park in the world that sits on the edge of a city. You can get to know the baby elephants at the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust or take a day trip out to Champagne Ridge to look over the Great Rift Valley. We also recommend an excursion to the Nairobi National Park, where you can catch a glimpse of the rhinos, as well as a visit to the giraffe sanctuary.
