Ol Donyo Lodge

Ol Donyo Lodge sits under the shadow of Mount Kilimanjaro, in the Chyulu Hills, southern Kenya.

Ol Donyo has ten suites set amongst the boulders, that are all wonderfully designed and very spacious. The rooms have their own private pools and views overlooking several water holes with Kili in the distance. All the rooms have rooftop star beds for you to marvel at a night sky you will never forget.

The quality of the food here cannot be overstated, every meal is fresh and delicious thanks to the creative touch of the chef Ray. The facilities here have been designed to add comfort to everything you do, as well as bring Africa to your door with the water holes below your rooms attracting a wide range of wildlife.

With Mount Kilimanjaro rising through the clouds in the distance, and huge herds of elephants roaming the acacia dotted plains, every activity is rendered extra dramatic at Ol Donyo Lodge. Their real speciality, however, is riding safaris, and having teamed up with Ride Kenya they offer some of the best riding experiences in Africa. You will also have your own vehicle to take you on game drives if you want a more relaxed way to view the extensive wildlife.
