Arriving into Zimbabwe, we’ll whisk you by private transfer to the Victoria Falls Safari Suites for two nights, where you'll enjoy the luxurious comfort of a two-bedroom family suite including spacious lounge area. Next you’ll be transferred across the Botswana border to Kasane airport, where you’ll be soaring across the magnificent plains of the Chobe National Park to the Shinde airstrip in the Okavango Delta. Three nights of adventure and safari await, as you arrive by 4WD to the innovative Footsteps Across the Delta camp. With their Young Explorers programme, families will enjoy the exclusivity of the camp (accommodating up to six guests), and the unforgettable safari experiences offering countless opportunities to see Botswana’s diverse wildlife up close. Spot hippos from your family tent overlooking the lagoon, walk alongside giraffes at dusk, and hear the sound of lions roaring in the night. Leaving the Okavango Delta, you’ll be transferred by light aircraft to Maun airport, then onwards to the Tsigaro strip for three days in the quaint Camp Kalahari. In a breathtakingly beautiful setting on Hyena Island, amongst palms and acacia trees, the camp overlooks the ancient super lake of the Makgadikgadi saltpan. One of the most unusual places on Earth, the shimmering white expanse of salt desert is a spectacular sight to behold. Guests can enjoy the surreal experience of quad-biking on the salt flat, observe game in their natural habitat, interact with a meerkat colony, or simply relax by the camp’s decked swimming pool. Camp Kalahari’s rustic safari-style tents feature African patterned blankets and hot water bottles, and with excellent food and a thatched library, guests can enjoy the region’s enchanting wilderness in an authentic, comfortable setting. At the end of your family safari escape, we’ll transfer you to back to Maun airport via the Tsigaro airstrip, ready for your flight home.
