Hotel Overview

Sense of place

With pristine beach and the Pacific Ocean on one side, and dense vegetation on the other, KiChic feels immersed in nature, but the restaurants and nightlife of popular Mancora lie just a short drive away.

Rooms at KiChic

KiChic has just a handful of individually-designed rooms featuring local wood and stone, giving them an organic, rustic-chic style, and they are all supremely comfortable.

Barro takes its name from the traditional mud construction of its walls, while Piedra is kept private by traditional stone walls which are typical of the surrounding area, and also has an open-air bathtub. Suite Himalaya, elevated on the second floor, has a four-poster bed on its terrace, offering stunning views over the ocean, while Suite Neem has its own private pool. Eco touches include bamboo fibre towels.

Within the hotel, you will find Casa Kichic - a stylish two-bedroom house with rooms facing stunning sea views, as well as a spacious living room, a dining room and a fully-equipped kitchen. Unwind on gorgeous private decking areas complete with plunge pools before stepping barefoot directly out onto the sandy beach for a rejuvenating swim in the ocean.

Food & drink

Vegetarians will be very pleased to learn that there is a whole restaurant dedicated to their needs here, but there's also a seafood bar, where you can find ocean-fresh dishes such as shrimp tequenos, tuna tartare and grilled octopus, to name just a few. Fresh ingredients are plucked from KiChic's organic gardens.

Cooking classes are also on offer, where you can learn to whip up a classic Peruvian ceviche.

Facilities

Wellness is high on the agenda at KiChic, and a range of massage treatments are on offer to help you relax - these include therapies which draw on reflexology and Ayurvedic traditions, as well as deep tissue massages. Certified yoga teachers are on hand to lead daily classes in the yoga pavilion, overlooking the trees.

Activities at KiChic

Given the hotel’s gorgeous beachfront location, marine and coast-based activities are likely to feature prominently on your schedule. Go snorkelling, swimming or kayaking, and have a surfing or kite-surfing lesson. Between July and October, whale-watching boat trips give you the chance to spot these majestic beasts while also taking in the beauty of Mancora’s coastline.

If that all sounds like too much hard work, simply relax on the beach - stay there all day and it becomes a private cinema, with movies shown in the evening on a big screen in the sand.
