Hotel Overview

Sense of place

Patagonia House is secluded and tranquil, set in beautiful grounds with unmatched views of the Andes, yet isn’t far from Coyhaique, the capital of Aysen, which has a handicrafts market and a number of excellent restaurants. This area is the jumping-off point for exploring the unspoiled landscapes of Chilean Patagonia.

Rooms at Patagonia House

The rooms and suites are modern and spacious, with wooden floors and a minimalist style. Some also have a living room with a fireplace, and private balconies for making the most of the views over the Coyhaique valley and the mountains by day and night (stargazing is must).

Food & drink

The breakfasts at Patagonia House include fruit, fresh juice and homemade breads and sweets, as well as freshly-ground coffee to kick-start your day. The a la carte restaurant is perfect for dinner and offers delicious traditional South American dishes on top of a range of international cuisines, accompanied by fine wines.

Facilities

After a long day of adventure, unwind in the Jacuzzi or take advantage of one of the many books and DVDs.

Activities at Patagonia House

In such a beautiful location the chance to explore the beech forest trails and hike through the surrounding mountains is irresistible - but if you’re not in the mood for walking, go horse riding or borrow a 4x4 from the hotel and drive through the forests and glaciers. For more adventurous guests, skiing is also available. Alternatively, go fly fishing in world-class waters or even take a trip to a vineyard to sample some of Chile’s world-renowned wines.
