2 nightsSANTIAGO

Your adventure begins in the Chilean capital, Santiago, where your home for two nights is Le Reve, a luxurious boutique property rich in Old World colonial charm. The hotel is perfectly placed for exploring the fantastic culture, cuisine and nightlife which make Santiago such a great destination. Take in some contemporary art at the eye-catching Centro Gabriela Mistral, before discovering pre-colonial culture at the Museo Chileno de Arte Precolombino. Be sure to take the funicular railway up the peaks of the Cerro San Cristobal for some truly spectacular views over the city.

3 nightsSAN PEDRO DE ATACAMA

The second leg of your journey sees you venturing into the wild heart of Chile and the Atacama Desert – the driest desert in the world. You’ll spend three nights here at Tierra Atacama, a boutique adventure lodge where your wilderness adventures don’t have to mean any compromise in luxury. You’ll embark on several thrilling excursions during you time here, including biking in the spectacular Devil’s Canyon, meeting local people in nearby villages, and horseback riding through the desert landscapes. Stargazing in the clear night skies is the perfect way to end your days in the desert.

2 nightsColchagua Valley

Your next stop takes you into the heart of Chile’s fertile wine country and the Colchagua Valley, a region of unspoilt countryside blanketed with vineyards. You’ll spend a couple of nights at Noi Blend, a boutique farmhouse-style hotel which epitomises rustic chic. Wine lovers are in luck here – the number one activity is tours of the many wineries in the area, with plenty of opportunity to taste the local produce. There’s fantastic Chilean food to match at the hotel restaurant, making this leg all about indulging the palate and discovering Chilean delicacies. The nearby town of Santa Cruz is well worth a visit, too, with its beautiful old colonial architecture.

3 nightsTORRES DEL PAINE

Having filled your boots with the best food and wine that Chile has to offer, it’s time to head into the wildest and most stunning region of the country: Chilean Patagonia. This region of soaring mountains and icy glaciers is one of the most beautiful wildernesses in the world, and the setting for some of Latin America’s greatest outdoor adventures. Your home here is Tierra Patagonia, the sister property of your hotel in Atacama, and promising the same epic scale of adventures: think hiking to the famous Torres glaciers, sailing on lakes dotted with icebergs, and learning how to explore the environment the traditional way, as you learn the tricks of a classic campero cowboy.

2 nightsVALPARAISO

Your journey ends in another of Chile’s great cities, this time the colourful port town of Valparaiso. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the city has been a source of inspiration to legendary poet Pablo Neruda among countless other artistic types, and it’s not hard to get sucked in by its bohemian, slightly ramshackle charm. You’ll be staying at Casa Higueras, a luxurious boutique property high in the hills which affords stunning views over the city. In between relaxing at the end of your trip, don’t miss the chance to visit Pablo Neruda’s former home, and the murals and contemporary art exhibits of the Parque Cultural. After two nights taking in the cultural highlights of Valparaiso, your trip reaches its end, and you’ll be transferred back to Santiago for your flight home.
