In La Alondra’s elegant restaurant, an Argentine-meets-international menu is presented, with an emphasis on traditional, regional cuisine; specialities include empanadas and sumptuous grilled steaks, accompanied of course by fine Argentinean wine. Breakfast entails a hearty spread of fresh fruit, pastries, and Mesopotamian specialities such as chipa cheese buns.

The hotel’s outdoor pool, shaded by mango trees, is a lovely spot perfect for cooling off in the afternoon sun. The beautiful old library is a cosy, inviting space, with entire walls taken up with all manner of books and volumes, and comfy leather armchairs for you to sink into and read them.
