Hotel Overview

Sense of Place

Estancia La Bandada is set on a 250-acre working farm in the heart of the Pampas. Private transport is available to and from the estancia - or you can always arrive by helicopter...

Rooms at Estancia La Bandada

The characterful rooms, suites and apartments feature high wooden-beamed ceilings, antique furniture and colourful bedspreads, cushions and rugs. In keeping with the estancia’s relaxed, laid-back ambience, there are no TVs - a stay here is all about eschewing modern technology and the stresses and strains of daily life.

Food & Drink

Tuck into hearty fare produced on the estate, from eggs for breakfast, beef and vegetables for the asado (barbecue), washed down with an obligatory glass of Malbec, and cake, honey and lemonade for tea - you certainly won’t go hungry or thirsty! Take a cooking class to learn how to make traditional local dishes.

Facilities

Have a refreshing dip in the inviting pool (perfect for a hot summer’s day), or unwind with a blissful massage.

Activities at Estancia La Bandada

Follow in the footsteps of the gauchos and go horse riding in the vast landscapes - with hundreds of acres of the Pampas to explore, this is the perfect place to saddle up - and afterwards experience a traditional guitarreada, an evening of local music, following the ancient traditions of the gauchos.

You can also chill out on the terrace and take in the views over the gardens, or stroll around the grounds, which are dotted with ancient oak and pine trees. As night falls, do some stargazing or cosy up by the fireplace with some more wine.
