Hotel Overview

Where

In the mountains, next to the east gate of Zion National Park. To access the west side of Zion, the charming town of Springdale is better situated.

Rooms at Zion Mountain Ranch

Upscale log-cabin comfort is the rule of thumb in the cabins, cabin suites and lodges at Zion Mountain Ranch, which look out over the expansive Utah countryside and the ranch’s herd of buffalo wandering by. Fireplaces, private porches and plush furnishings give an air of staying in a friend’s country cabin, making the ranch an ideal place to wind down after a day of adventure in the national park.

Food and facilities

Chez Bison is the aptly-named restaurant, continuing in the hotel’s theme of a cosy log-cabin feel, with wood-burning stoves and views of the ranch’s resident miniature horses. The menu is based around what’s grown or farmed at the ranch and, unsurprisingly, buffalo is the meat of choice. Post-dinner, head outdoors and toast marshmallows at the nightly campfire under a crystal-clear starry sky.

Activities at Zion Mountain Ranch

With Zion National Park on your doorstep, cyclists, birdwatchers, canyoneers, climbers and hikers will all be in their element. We recommend hiking to Angel’s Landing– one of our favourite spots in all of the States’ national parks– and taking in the views of Zion Canyon from almost 1,500 feet above the ground.
