Hotel Overview

Sense of Place

The Auberge du Soleil is in the vine-drenched Napa Valley in California, just north of San Francisco.

Rooms at Auberge du Soleil

With fantastic views down the hillside, the rooms and suites are decked out in the house shades of burnt orange, white and cream. A private terrace offers stunning scenes, with the rooms higher up the hillside commanding the better views. Fireplaces, large soaking tubs and heated floors make the accommodation as comfortable as it is chic and the Private Maisons offer the ultimate in space and privacy, with incredible views across the valley.

Food & Drink

The Auberge du Soleil was originally a restaurant, with the hotel added afterwards, and during that time the food has become famous throughout the region and earned itself a Michelin star. The food is delicious, but the view alone is worth the visit, with a panoramic scene across the valley which you can enjoy with your meal.

Excellent wine is paired with the menu and there is also a bar with a wraparound balcony.

Facilities

When you’ve had your fill of the food (if such a thing is possible!), you can enjoy a treatment at the spa, luxuriate around the pool, or work off the wine in the gym.

Activities at Auberge du Soleil

At the Auberge du Soleil, you can wander around the grounds checking out the sizeable sculpture collection or play tennis on one of the courts. You can golf, bike around the area, or head up in a hot air balloon to take in the spectacular scenery.

Head out to the many wineries that are spread throughout this region in one of the hotel's Mercedes-Benz cars – we recommend the convertible for glorious sunny days in the Napa Valley!
