The elegant Anacaona restaurant is named after the legendary Anacaona orchestra, who used to perform to writers, artists and celebrities in its heyday a century ago. It serves delicious Cuban and international cuisine, while the sleek Bar Mezzanine, with its elegant, colourful design and towering palm trees, is a great spot for a mojito and a Cuban cigar before hitting Havana by night.

The rooftop pool is a real plus and is the perfect spot to cool off before sipping another cocktail, with views over the city. Meanwhile, the jetlag-busting gym and the spa, which has a Jacuzzi and offers massages, will keep you in tip-top condition. 

The hotel's excellent concierge team is a great place to start to get the best out of the city. You’re in Havana so you won’t be short of things to do. Spend a day with a guide to show you the sights, take a salsa lesson, or hit the museums or the cigar factory, but most of all, save some time for mooching through those atmospheric streets and soaking up it all up.
