The accommodation takes inspiration from the traditional long houses originally built by West Coast First Nations, and the rich cultural heritage of the area can be seen throughout the lodge. King sized beds and luxurious bathrooms overlook the ocean and rainforests.

Dine at the long wooden tables in the Great Room, surrounded by Tsimshian art and overlooking the Pacific Ocean. After a day of exploring, relax in the Great Room by the oceanview windows and see if you can spot orca whales and dolphins.

Activities at Spirit Bear Lodge

The lodge’s numerous multi-day tour packages are ideal for exploring the Great Bear Rainforest, the largest intact temperate rainforest in the world and home to the rare Spirit Bear. Join local Kitasoo guides on a bear hunt and learn more about the fascinating culture and wildlife of the area. The Big House in Klemtu is home to First Nation cultural gatherings, songs and dances.
