Hotel Overview

Sense of Place

Riad dar Anika is in the heart of Marrakech, by the souks, and close to many of the city's main attractions.

Rooms at Riad dar Anika

The rooms and suites are stylish and spacious, and a showcase of opulent Moroccan style. Each one has its own character, and they come with plush four-poster beds, comfortable sofas by the stone fireplace, rich carpets, local artworks and fresh flowers, alongside features such as attractive ceiling domes with lanterns casting a rosy glow.

Food & Drink

Enjoy flavoursome Moroccan cuisine, including fresh fruit and homemade breads and cakes on the sunny terrace for breakfast, and for lunch and dinner, tuck into garden-fresh vegetables cooked with spices and olive oil, delicate pastries with spiced meats, cheese and vegetables, salads served with almonds and signature Anika sauce, rich harira soup and fresh fish.

Other Moroccan favourites include hearty tagines, fragrant saffron chicken and pastilla – often served at special occasions, this consists of chicken, almonds and spices coated in a crisp filo pastry. On the dessert menu there is also a delicious sweet version, with a filling of cream and orange blossom.

Facilities

There’s a gorgeous swimming pool and a hammam, perfect for unwinding after your flight or a day of exploring. Try an age-old tradition by exfoliating with a black soap made from black olives, followed by a relaxing massage with Argan oil. Afterwards, head to the roof terrace to enjoy the sunset, accompanied by a cocktail or two.

Activities at Riad dar Anika

Spend some time meandering your way around the winding alleys of the souks, discovering a bargain or two, and enjoy the night markets on the square. You’re also just a few minutes’ walk from many of Marrakech’s top sights, including palaces and museums.

Private guided tours can be arranged around the city and beyond, such as to the Atlas Mountains, Berber villages and the Ouzoud waterfalls – just ask us for details.
