Biblical mountain scenery (spot the film sets) dotted with Berber villages, green valleys and snow-capped peaks – needless to say, this is fantastic trekking country. Just traversing the mountains in a 4x4 is breathtaking, but by far the best way to see them in their snow- capped, red-washed glory is on a magical hot air balloon ride.
Perhaps, on the other hand, you want to sit back on a roof terrace to admire the beautiful views, sipping a refreshing mint tea and stargazing by night?
