Santa Teresa, Nicoya Peninsula.

Rooms at Latitude 10

Blending into the surrounding forest, the five sustainable casitas are constructed from almond wood and furnished with locally made interiors. With no need for windows, they look out into the forest, making you feel at one with nature and your surroundings. Enjoy the open space, swinging in your own hammock, or showering in the private open-air bathrooms.

Food and facilities

Breakfast is served at the bar, where you’ll be surrounded by tranquil green garden and hear the waves hitting the nearby shore in the background.  Although there is no a la carte menu available, dinner is served in the Balinese style clubhouse, where you are given a choice of two different dishes each evening.  The retreat also houses an infinity pool that overlooks the spectacular beach and an open-air wellness spa.

Activities at Latitude 10

The secluded beach is considered one of the best in the country, thanks to its dazzling golden sands and remote location, which limits the number of tourists that reach it. Take one of the yoga classes run by the hotel, or grab a board and ride the waves. Return to civilisation and head into Santa Teresa to browse the surf shops, drink in friendly bars or dine in beachside restaurants.
